Accepted Materials

We accept paper and cardboard, such as newspapers, magazines, and shipping boxes, can be recycled if they are clean and free of food residue. Plastic bottles and containers, like those used for beverages, shampoos, and detergents, are also widely accepted, provided they are rinsed and have their caps removed. Cartons, including juice, milk, and soup cartons, can be recycled once they are emptied and rinsed. Metal cans, such as those used for soda, beer, and canned foods, should be emptied and rinsed before recycling. Glass bottles and jars, which often contain beverages, sauces, and preserves, are recyclable if they are clean and free of any lids or caps.
